I offer overnight in-home house and pet sitting, as well as drop-in visits, and dog walking. My services can be customized as needed.

Yes. I carry full pet care and business liability insurance, including coverage beyond a basic policy for property damage, pet protection (Baille/Care, Custody, or Control), and veterinarian expense reimbursement. I am happy to provide proof of insurance as requested.

Industry standards for overnight pet sitting typically range from $70–$150 per night, depending on the number of pets, level of care required, and location. My daily rate is $75 with an additional fee for each extra dog.

A drop-in visit is a scheduled visit (typically 30 minutes or 1 hour) to feed pets, provide potty breaks, administer medications, and check on the home while you’re away.

Yes. I’ve had extensive experience caring for dogs with various special needs and medication requirements. I can administer pills, insulin injections, and topical treatments, provided I have clear instructions for each. I regularly care for senior pets or those with special needs. Please share details in advance so I can ensure proper care.

No. I do not charge an extra fee to administer medication. My rates are all inclusive. Please visit my “Services” tab, where I list what is and isn't included.

No. I do not charge an extra rate for holidays. My rates are all inclusive, including walks, holidays, medications, etc.

Generally, I do not provide stand-alone cat care unless the client agrees to my daily rate. The first cat costs $75 or $90 per day, depending on the service area, with an additional $10 per cat per day. I usually recommend drop-ins rather than overnight in-home care. For drop-in care, my standard rates apply: $25 per 30 minutes or $35 per hour, plus $10 per cat. This includes litter cleaning, feeding, playtime, medication, and any other needed care.

Please email me at britneysits@proton.me to schedule a virtual meet-and-greet via Zoom. A Zoom meet-and-greet is required before we proceed to an in-person meet-and-greet, during which we can further assess a good fit and review your pet's care requirements, routines, home, and other details. Once you decide to move forward, a deposit is required to secure your dates on my calendar.

Cancellations made with 14 or more days' notice from the start of your sit date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

Yes. Outside of other client drop-ins and walks, yes, I will be staying over at your home to manage your pet’s normal routines. This is my full-time occupation; I prioritize your pet’s and home’s needs.

Generally, for any overnight pet stays within 5 miles of La Habra, I can check in and care for her throughout the day without her having to stay overnight. For pet-sitting stays beyond 5 miles, I kindly ask that she stay over with me. She is house and crate-trained and is a very mellow senior pup who prefers to lie next to me or in her crate with a blanket over her head. She is dog and cat friendly.

Absolutely! I am highly communicative and will send regular updates at your desired cadence throughout the day. I typically send via text and can send via email, too, if international.

"In Town" radius covers 1 to 10 miles from La Habra, CA. "Out of Town" includes any location beyond a 10-mile radius from La Habra, CA.

My daily rates are based on your scheduled check-in and check-out times. For the same check-in and check-out times, up to 3 hours, and up to 59 minutes, I do not charge a fee. For check-out times between 4 hours and 7 hours 59 minutes, I charge a half-day rate. For check-out times of 8 hours or more, I charge a full-day rate. For example, if you needed services from 10:00am on 5/14 to 3:00pm on 5/18, I would charge 4 full-day rates plus an additional half-day rate for the 5-hour difference.

I currently am not offering dog grooming or bathing services.

I accept payment via, cash, Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal.

I am based in La Habra Heights, CA. I regularly serve the North Orange county, Fullerton, Brea, Buena Park, Yorba Linda areas as well as Friendly Hills and Whittier. Thanks to a flexible lifestyle, I am open to pet-sitting opportunities anywhere in the greater Southern California Area, provided my pup Sadie can come along with!

In-home pet sitting allows your pet to stay in their normal routine and environment, which can reduce stress compared to boarding.
