About Me

Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by. I’m Britney. After working at Google and Meta, I decided to become a full-time pet-sitter.

I started pet and house-sitting part-time in the greater Bay Area over three years ago, caring for dogs, cats, and some farm animals like chickens, horses, and cattle, but my love for animals began much earlier, when I was 10 years old. I walked my neighbor’s dogs, gave them baths, and eventually got my own dog with money I saved from my sweet 16. I trained and cared for her while working part-time, going to school, and training as a junior Olympic athlete. She was with me for 19 years!

I have had the honor of rescuing two senior dogs, one of whom is no longer with us, and the other with whom I travel. Her name is Sadie, and we found each other on a trailhead! I nursed her back to health and have direct experience healing my dog holistically. She was not in the best shape when I found her, but whilst learning to live and travel on the road together, we discovered that nature, clean food, energy work, love, and homeopathic care helped her to fully recover.

Formerly, I came from a Trust and Safety background, where my role was to protect the public's safety and well-being, utilizing our social media and home services platforms. Whether it's watching over your pup(s)/cat(s), walking them, playing with them, and/or administering medication, I ensure that their safety and well-being are my #1 priority.

I took a risk and ditched big tech to explore a more decentralized way of living and found myself on an epic adventure with Sadie, experiencing the most beautiful places our country and planet have to offer. It’s led me through various valleys, alpine peaks, densely forested areas, unobstructed panoramic views, fresh spring water, and unmatched memories with people and pets I’ve met along the way, but, more importantly, what I value most:Trust, Safety, and compassionate care towards all.

I offer an authentically loving approach and look forward to getting to know you and your beloved companions, giving you peace of mind knowing they are in the care of a loving heart and hands.
